Autant le dire de suite, je fais partie des lectrices inconditionnelles d´Amélie .
Parfois déçue mais souvent touchée par le récit, à chaque roman je retrouve avec jubilation le style , l´écriture et l´univers très personnels de l´autrice.
Dans ce dernier roman, on plonge une fois de plus dans l intimité, dans l´histoire d´Amélie.
Cet impossible retour, c´est celui du Japon, de son Japon perdu dans l´enfance, retrouvé dans sa vie d´adulte puis quitté . Pour Amélie, le Japon c´est la douceur de l´enfance, le père , mais aussi l'échec d´un projet de vie à Tokyo (évoqué avec brio dans Stupeurs et Tremblements). C'est un roman emprunt de nostalgie, sur l'impossibilité de retourner en tant que touriste dans un pays ou l´on a vécu, mais aussi la difficulté de partager ses souvenirs .
Le roman se lit vite , très vite, mais pour qui a vécu une telle expérience, il restera longtemps en tête.

Am Anfang das Romans wir die Bezeichnung "Sprengstoff" des öfteren verwendet, nun dieses Buch ist Sprengstoff pur.
Es regt wirklich zum Überlegen an, auf was wir zusteuern, und mir persönlich hat et schon etwas Angst gemacht, wenn man bedenkt, wie Realitätsnah dieses Geschehen doch ist. Und da ist das gegenseitige Anstacheln oder die Selbstjustiz noch nicht mal das Schlimmste. Wann werden wir erkennen dass so einiges an dem ach so tollen Fortschritt eigentlich unser Verderben ist...?

Gael Faye nous raconte, à travers les personnages de Milan, Stella et sa grand-mère, ainsi que Sartre, l'histoire terrible et atroce du Rwanda et de ses habitants, qu'ils soient Hutu ou Tutsi. Milan , lui, le " BLANC" aussi comprend mieux sa famille et toutes les conséquences des génocides sur les mentalités ... et même tous les silences.
Mais, malgré tout, notre foi en l'humain doit rester.

Melissa Da Costa nous éclaire sur le handicap: comment gérer son corps, sa vie professionnelle et ses amours, et tout cela, en restant réaliste et sans édulcorer la réalité.
Ce roman nous émeut aussi par sa construction, car nous passons continuellement de François ( l'amant accidenté) à Isabelle ( la femme trompée) en insistant sur Eléonore (la jeune maîtresse).
Roman bien construit, émouvant et qui force l'espoir, car la vie continue toujours.

Un ouvrage intime où se côtoient l'expérience de la maternité et les violences conjugales, en passant par toutes les remises en question et leur impact.

La chanteuse et comédienne Camille Lellouche nous dévoile la part sombre de son histoire que son humour et sa joie de vivre ont su dissimuler sur scène.

Ein Buch, das tief unter die Haut geht! Die schlimmste Erfahrung, die Eltern machen können, drängt die Mutter Linda in die Zurückgezogenheit, um irgendwie mit ihrem Schmerz leben zu können. Krien beschreibt die Gefühle unmittelbar und unbequem, so dass der Leser mitfühlt und -leidet. Ein gutes, psychologisch nachvollziehbares Buch!

Ein Buch über Familie, Schuld, Wut und Eigenverantwortung. In dieser Fortsetzung des Bestsellers "22 Bahnen" geht es um die nun erwachsen gewordene Ida, die sich nach einem schweren Schicksalsschlag alleine der Welt stellen muss - zumindest denkt sie das.
Windstärke 17 hat mich genauso berührt wie sein Vorgänger. Es ist unglaublich, wie Caroline Wahl es schafft, zwei so unterschiedliche Erzählstile für die Schwestern zu entwickeln, dass man tatsächlich das Gefühl hat, man steckt jetzt plötzlich im Inneren einer neuen Person. Die Geschichte ist so roh und echt und verletzend wie die erste, vielleicht sogar noch etwas mehr. Diese erfundene Erzählung steckt voller echter Menschen, echten Gefühlen und harter und schöner Realitäten.
Außerdem hat es mich sehr gefreut, Tilda und Viktor wiederzutreffen und zu erfahren, was aus ihnen geworden ist.
Ich habe mehr als ein Mal geweint, gelacht und den Atem angehalten.
Wenn ich mehr als fünf Sterne geben könnte, würde ich es.

Ein heiterer und gleichzeitig tiefsinnig-melancholischer Roman, der mit viel (fast schon Galgen-)Humor dem Thema Demenz die Schwere nimmt und gleichzeitig aufzeigt, was wahre Freundschaft ist. Unglaublich herzlich!

Ein wunderbares Buch!
"25 letzte Sommer" eines Lebens , das gibt einem zu denken, wenn man sich im Hamsterrad der mittleren Lebensjahre befindet. Was ist wichtig, was will ich erleben, was führt zur Zufriedenheit, innen wie aussen? Stephan Schäfer bringt diese Fragen in seinem Roman auf den Punkt. Einen Freund wie Kartoffelbauer Karl im Buch wünscht sich jede(r) von uns. Sehr lesenswert!

En tant que lecteur,nous suivons Orsola Rosso, fille de verrier à Murano, capitale des artistes verriers, depuis 1486 .
A la mort de son père, elle décide de filer du verre pour créer des perles et ainsi éviter la famine à sa famille. Ce roman est écrit avec précision et beauté. Les maîtres verriers de Murano sont encore, de nos jours, connus dans le monde entier et nous en connaissons plus sur cet art après cette lecture. Tracy Chevalier mêle intrigue, amour et histoire avec brio.

Ne lisant quasiment jamais de romance, je me suis dit que ce serait bien d´essayer avec une référence en la matière et je dois dire que Sally Rooney m´a embarqué dans son histoire malgré mes réticences.
Deux frères que tout oppose renouent des liens après la mort de leur père, cependant leur vision différente sur l´amour exacerbe encore leur antagonisme passé.
Alors que Peter, l´aînée, avocat, un crack du barreau extraverti, entretien des relations confuses avec deux partenaires, Ivan, lui, joueur d´échecs chevronné, mais asociale, va rencontrer l´amour authentique avec une femme plus âgée.
Ce que risque d´en penser Peter pourrait mettre le feu aux poudres !

Encore un roman résolument poétique et centré sur l?humain de Jean-Baptiste Andrea.Il nous emmène cette fois?ci en Italie dans le monde de la sculpture, du cirque, de la religion? dans une Italie immobilisée par le fascisme..
Son ? oeuvre au noir?, sa transformation d?enfant en grand sculpteur, s?est réalisée grâce à la création de son oeuvre suprême: sa Pietà.
Ses romans sont toujours aussi splendides. Quel grand auteur ! Je ne le remercierais jamais assez pour les moments de bonheur de lecture.

Depuis toujours, Cléo voulait devenir célèbre. Elle y parvient sur le tard, en comparaison aux autres chanteuses qui font le buzz. Une fois ce label acquis, il faut toutefois le garder. Et il faut bien calculer pour y parvenir.
Un roman qui explore la vie privée d'une célébrité, les coulisses de ce statut, avec une bonne dose d'humour.

Un roman qui conduit vite à un dialogue entre une mère et son fils de 15 ans. Un échange chaotique déclenché par l'aveux de Marco, le fils, d'un acte irrémédiable, à Jessie, sa mère. Un dialogue chaotique qui s'étale le temps d'un trajet incertain en voiture, pendant lequel on découvre la violence subie, les brèches, les blessures de Jessie.
Mathieu Palain s'inspire d'une histoire vraie, une histoire à double fond au rythme rapide qu'on a du mal à oublier.

Dans ce premier roman écrit par Alice Develey, on y suit l'histoire d'Alice, 14 ans, qui se retrouve en hôpital psychiatrique pour un TCA (trouble du comportement alimentaire). A travers ses souvenirs, l'autrice nous dépeint le point de vue d'Alice , son hospitalisation forcée et les souffrances qu'elle y a vécues.

Un roman qui donne nous prend par les tripes et qui décrit avec dureté l'anorexie qu'Alice combat, Alice Develey arrive avec brio à mettre les mots sur l'anorexie et la santé mentale ainsi que comment une personne avec anorexie survit et les combats qu'elle doit surmonter.

Quand l'ambition folle d'un jeune architecte rencontre la mégalomanie de Hitler. Roman biographique de la vie de Speer qui revient sur ses ambitions artistiques, sociales, sa relation avec le Fuhrer, et son implication en tant ministre de l'Armement d'Hitler dans les crimes du Troisième Reich. Passionnant.

On ne présente plus le phénomène Fourth Wing. Le roman est-il aussi bon qu'on le dit ? Bien sur que oui !
Un rythme éffréné, des personnages bien construits et un excellent worldbuilding...Tout y est !

Dans les jardins de Torcello, nous retrouvons la Jess du roman Avant l´été. Les années se sont écoulées, Jess a quitté son quotidien et un passé sombre pour s´installer un temps à Venise. A travers ses yeux et son savoir, nous découvrons Venise , ses monuments, ses secrets et sa beauté mais aussi son tourisme de masse et la fragilité de ce patrimoine en sursis.
A la suite d´un déménagement forcé, Jess va rencontrer Maxence , brillant avocat et son compagnon Colin féru d´art contemporain. Ces deux esthètes épris de liberté habitent une vieille bâtisse à Torcello. Maxence a le projet un peu fou de recréer les sept jardins qui entouraient la demeure auparavant , avant que la montée des eaux ne dévaste cette petite île vénitienne.
Le style intimiste de Claudie Gallay donne profondeur à ce roman, où se superposent en trame de fond ces différents thèmes : passé -présent, beauté, fragilité , puissance du sentiment amoureux , l´amitié, la douleur et la guérison.
Un roman sensible et profond.
